In supporting your child, we also include specialized playground time and field trips to help your little one learn and grow. If the weather isn't cooperating, we also have an indoor gym space where your child can burn off some steam.

Safe and Educational Field Trips That Are Fun

Sunrise-Sunset Preschool & Childcare Center believes outside play time is critical for the development of your child to stay active and healthy. The Center has two playgrounds. One playground is half sand and half grass fully fenced in for children three years and older. The second playground is for children that are three years old or younger so they can play without the worry of older children running around them.

The playground has an in-ground sprinkler system that is used for some of our water activities. When outside, we have a variety of toys for your child to play with; basketball, football, kickball, swings, slides, monkey bars, cozy coupes as well as a variety of sand toys

Here at Sunrise-Sunset, we are here not only as a childcare center but we strive to make important memories for your child so we take many field trips to get them out and explore the world.

Field trips that the center goes to are the Wahpeton Zoo, Detroit Lakes, Red River Valley Zoo, Red River Valley Fair, Kid Fest, water activities, Bonanzaville USA, RedHawks Game, West Fargo Public Library and many more.

Our transportation for the outings that Sunrise-Sunset Preschool & Childcare Center uses is done by our two 64 passenger buses or by our two 14 passenger vans.

All staff is first aid and CPR certified, as well as carries first aid packs, and walkies for communication with the center at all times.

When the weather does not allow the children to go outside, room 5 has a large open space to burn off a little extra energy.
